On my first read, it was really hard to get into the new personalities of the new Justice League.
Since this was targeted for new readers (the rest of the world whose most recent knowledge of these heroes are in theaters), I started re-imagining this intro with the actors from the movies. It started to make sense.
(Though I think Christian Bale is a bit less trusting)
